Tuberfil started its commercial activities in 1966 as an organization for resale of steel pipes in São Caetano do Sul. In 1988 it decided to manufacture its own pipes. The industrial activity has been started in the city of Indaiatuba, which was chosen due its climate and also its proximity to the main highways of the country. Currently the company has two production units; and the Unit I occupies a covered area of 12.000 m², with four pipe forming machines and one slitter, and the Unit II is focused for the production of blanks and pieces.

The annual production of Tuberfil is approximately 60 thousand tons/year and the installed capacity is 100 thousand tons/year.

Tuberfil is certified with the Quality Seal ISO 9001 and it has a modern laboratory, where chemical analysis and mechanical tests are performed regularly.

It has also equipment with state-of-the-art technology for the manufacturing of its products.
